Description
The SMARTer Mobility team is conducting another round of public engagement to gather feedback on the two proposed SMART network redesigns.
Accessibility
The Bloomfield Township Public Library can be reached via SMART Route 375, which runs hourly through the duration of the meeting. The nearest bus stop is Telegraph and Lone Pine. Note that while the southbound stop likely poses no access barriers, the northbound stop requires navigating a narrow, sloped grass easement beside trees; there is neither a sidewalk along the east side of Telegraph nor curb cuts across Lone Pine on the east side of the intersection. Attendees may wish to arrive from the north via the Phoenix Center, and upon departure, travel south and transfer to Route 780 at Telegraph and Maple to access the Woodward corridor.

Description

The Romulus Public Library can be reached via SMART Route 280, which runs hourly through the duration of the meeting. Exit at Wayne and Goddard. Note that while the bus stops have a sidewalk connection, concrete landing pads are not present; wheeled mobility device users will need to navigate a grass easement.

Description
The SMARTer Mobility team is conducting another round of public engagement to gather feedback on the two proposed SMART network redesigns.
Accessibility
The Shelby Township Activities Center is along the northern boundary of the Hall Road SMART Flex zone; a wheelchair-accessible van can be booked on-demand from the mobile application, though availability is not guaranteed. The nearest hub for fixed-route bus service is Lakeside Mall, approximately 2.5 miles away with sidewalk connections available.

Adaptive MoGo, Detroit Riverwalk (Outdoor Adventure Center)
Description
Join MoGo for a free group ride with snacks, water, and a t-shirt included! Arrive by 5:30pm for rollout at 6pm.
Accessibility
Participants who register will be provided with either a free regular MoGo bicycle or an Adaptive bicycle from the Detroit Riverwalk location. To request an electric Boost bike or an Adaptive bike, email jeremy@mogodetroit.org after registering. Participants are also welcome to join with their own bike. The meetup location is directly accessible from the Detroit Riverwalk and transit accessible from DDOT Route 9 (Jefferson) via the Dequindre Cut.

Description
The Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan (RTA) Board of Directors meets monthly on the third Thursday.
Accessibility
1001 Woodward is wheelchair accessible from the Campus Martius QLINE stations and from the attached parking structure. Attendees will need to visit the security desk in the main lobby for elevator access to the 14th floor. Return trip to lobby requires use of an wall-mounted touchscreen at accessible height to call an elevator. Virtual attendance is over Zoom with full audio and text chat participation.

Description
The Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) holds a Community Input Meeting to hear feedback from city residents, transit riders, and the general public.
Accessibility
These meetings are virtual in Zoom webinar format. Following a presentation from DDOT staff, attendees may raise their hand to request two minutes to speak; DDOT staff will address any concerns raised at their discretion. Due to time constraints, not all attendees will have an opportunity to speak at every meeting.

Accessibility
This event will be held on the lower level of the Grand Circus Park People Mover station. Trains will not be operating, but the station is fully accessible from street level.

Illinois Railway Museum, 7000 Olson Road, Union, IL
Description
Last admission at 4:00pm Central Daylight Time. From the organizers: "Where the rubber meets the road. Join us for trolley bus and motor bus rides and see other buses that will be open and on display. IRM is the only museum in the country with regular trolley bus operation and this is the best time of the year to see a variety of trolley buses and motor buses in operation. Great photo opportunities for the bus fans."
Accessibility
The Illinois Railway Museum is an hour northwest of Chicago and is not transit accessible. The majority of the museum campus is outdoors with some exhibits inside enclosed barns. This event involves a significant amount of walking and offers limited shelter from inclement weather. Pathways are paved. Only some rail equipment is accessible, and none of the trains are independently accessible; an Amtrak style wheelchair lift is used for boarding. See website for details on specific railway equipment scheduled to operate.

Description
The Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) Board of Directors meets monthly on the fourth Thursday.
Accessibility
OCC Royal Oak is a 10-minute walk from the Royal Oak Transit Center which is served by SMART Routes 430, 460, 492, 730, 740 and the Amtrak Wolverine. Routes 460 and 730 also serve the stops at Washington and Lincoln immediately outside the building. Use the main entrance at the northeast corner of Washington and Lincoln and follow posted signage to the meeting room.

Description
The Detroit Transportation Corporation (DTC) Board of Directors, which oversees the Detroit People Mover and the Transit Police, meets monthly on the fourth Thursday.
Accessibility
Virtual attendance is via Zoom with both audio and text chat participation available during the public comment period at the end of each meeting. In-person attendees will need to visit the security desk inside the lobby of the Guardian Building for elevator access to the 29th floor. The security desk and elevator bank is wheelchair accessible via the main (west) entrance on Griswold; use the manual doors to either side of the revolving door. The retail promenade, including the gift shop and coffee shop, is wheelchair accessible from the south entrance on Larned. There is no step-free interior path between these portions of the building. Return trip to lobby requires use of a wall-mounted touchscreen at accessible height to call an elevator. The building is transit accessible from the Financial District People Mover station, the Congress Street QLINE station, multiple nearby bus stops, and the adjacent parking structure. The boardroom is a considerably tight space and staff may need to move chairs to accommodate attendees using mobility devices.
